ESSENTIAL CONCEPTS INCLUDE
- Following and implementing multi-step directions to create their custom projects.
- Introducing exciting career paths by opening student’s eyes to how our lives are enriched by the work of engineers, innovators and all different fields of work!
- Improving critical thinking skills through hands-on, project-based learning that connects to everyday STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) applications.
- Teaching the foundations of building: how to measure, cut, build, distress, sand, stain/paint
- Broadening participation in STEM fields through emphasizing that diverse teams result in the most innovative designs to improve our world!
